RAD Fair

Anca Țintea is a photographer who uses alternative printing processes. Țintea is currently working on a journalistic series in which spontaneous snapshots of her everyday life are superimposed, through photographic printing, on found paper. The title of the works operate as a written journal entry, adding significance to the work by chronicling each photograph. By printing on found paper, the quality of the photographs transform. The ink is absorbed by the worn paper and saturates it like a watercolor. The use of found paper juxtaposes the contemporary fleeting moment with a forgone novel, schedule, atlas, note; there is a semiotic playfulness between Țintea's image and the singular substrate it rests on.
